Krøttøya design trip
Our inspirations evolve across collections; however, the common thread that binds them together will always be nature. That’s why it’s so important for us to take a moment to reconnect with it. The Holzweiler design team recently took a trip to Krøttøya, a small island to the north of Norway. It was an idyllic escape from the rush of the city, surrounded by icy-blue water.
We absorbed the beauty around us, taking mental notes of natural formations and the curves of seashells that will undoubtedly make their way into future collections. The air was cold, but we kept warm through each other’s company and our insulating down outerwear - a mainstay of the trip.
