Holzweiler Hegdehaugsveien:

We are proud to announce the opening of our new Oslo store in Hegdehaugsveien 35 – a creative fusion of art and style.

The collaborative space is part of our ongoing design partnership with the renowned architecture practice Snøhetta.

Following a seamless conceptual approach entitled: ‘Norwegian Landscape', the store relays an earthy colour palette, using neutral tones to engage visitors with a harmonious and naturistic mood. The customer journey evolves from the busy street to the meditative interior, solidified with filtered daylight. Multi-layered flooring incorporates elements of the street via warm tiles, fusing with the organic lines of the carpet as you delve deeper into the store.

Various display furniture articulates the mood of the space, including low organic tables and fluid racks at varying heights.

A nod to our Copenhagen store, our space features dynamic printed curtains designed by Tronhjem Rømer. A thoughtful collaboration, the curtains subtly change tones to resemble the Norwegian sky.

The interior essence is informed by custom industrial-style lighting made from stainless steel  – a nuanced contrast to the organic walls, resembling the natural formations of mycelium. Constructed from wood, plaster and fluid materials, the walls are the perfect accompaniment to clothes, giving them prominence and clarity.

A friendly coffee corner serves all-day refreshments – designed with an open free-standing wooden counter, the timber accentuates the warm, domestic quality of the space, resulting in a warm hangout for our Holzweiler community.
