Holzweiler 'Besseggen Mini Down Jacket' is the kids' version of our bestselling Besseggen Jacket. A sleek mid-length down jacket. Designed with two large patch pockets at the front, stick-in pockets at the side, a detachable hood, and zip closure. The shell of this jacket is made of 45% recycled polyester, with a 100% recycled nylon lining on the inside. The surface is laminated with a hydrophilic membrane. Besseggen Mini Down Jacket is filled with 80% duck down and 20% duck feather. All our down is responsibly sourced. Temperature rating effective down to −15 ̊celcius. The jacket has a 10K/10K Waterproof DWR Finishing which makes it water-resistant.

All the down we use in our collections is from the Responsible down standard, to ensure animal welfare from farm to supplier. This standard includes that the animals are not exposed to pain, injury, fear or distress. They are raised free from hunger and thirst and are not being overfed, and the feathers are not picked from living birds.

How to care for down:
To clean your down jacket we recommend using a delicate setting in a front load washer with down soap, then gently squeeze out excess water before tumbling at low heat. Hot tip! Tumble dry with a couple of clean tennis balls, as this will speed up the process and prevent down clumps. During the process and when dried please work out the down with hands to puff the jacket. If needed, the down jacket can be air-dried, laying flat on a towel in a warm dry spot out of direct sunlight. Dry cleaning is not recommended. Don’t iron, nor bleach.
