We've joined forces with heritage brand Viking to launch a new rubber boot line
As we continue to expand our product categories, we have now added rubber boots to the portfolio. Our footwear line launched back in 2019 with great success and has since then received strong demand for expansion of the portfolio. Rubber boots have been on the wish list for many years, but until now it has not been possible due to the complexity of the product.
Viking is a Norwegian brand, that has been making rubber boots since the 1930s. The boots are handmade, 100% waterproof, and made in a sustainably sourced natural rubber that is vegan and PVC-free.

Maria Skappel Holzweiler about the collaboration:
"For a long time, I wanted to do rubber boots as we live in a country where it rains a lot. For example, we just opened a store in Bergen and they have 200 days of rain on average every year. But in addition to the national demand, personally, I just love rainboots. I know from first-hand experience that Viking Rain Boots have the best quality as I still have the ones my mom bought for me as a teen.
Not so long ago I met by chance René (Høgsted) from Viking in the local grocery store. We know each other from earlier days, and we started talking, and then just everything fell into place. I guess timing is everything.
With the competences and quality of Viking, combined with our design expertise, we have developed a unique product that is both timeless and durable. The colour palette for this first launch is a reflection of our collections; black, dusty blue and pastel yellow."
