"We have been wanting to collaborate with Skappel for a long time, but the timing was too perfect to ignore with our AW19 Log On / Log Off theme, knitting is truly an activity embodying the concept of logging off," said Susanne Holzweiler.
For the forthcoming collection, Holzweiler and Skappel have created three products together, "Bird" which will be available in two colourways and can be worn front-to-back with one side representing Holzweiler and the other representing Skappel. The final piece of the collection is the "Beryll" knit which can be bought as a knit-it-yourself DIY-style project or you can buy the finished product.

"We all have a front side and a back side, an inside and an outside. What you want to show on the outside world is dependent on your everyday mood and feeling. Sometimes you'll feel vulnerable, sometimes you'll feel tough. The two sides complement each other and make you whole. The collaboration between Holzweiler & Skappel is created just like you. An inside and an outside, a backside and a frontside - but what is the right and what is wrong does not matter, because strength exists on both sides," said Dorthe Skappel.
