We are proud to introduce Holzweiler Eyewear. Advised by the iconic Norwegian optician institution, Krogh Optikk Holzweiler was invited to dive into their 145-year-old archive of glasses. From here 7 genderless and timeless styles were born; Alexandra, Asta, Bo, Elise, Frej, Lieben, and Georg.

The eyewear is made in Japan with a mix of Mazzucchelli Acetate and Japanese Acetate and comes in various colour options such as black, tortoise, butter transparent, and yellow marble. Lens colours range from clear, black, brown, butter transparent and one gradient version is to be found in the assortment.

“I am always very fascinated by people, who just do one thing, but then do it seriously well. Like the Krogh family, who has been doing eyewear forever. So, I was very honoured and happy that the design team and I was able to dive into, not only the archive, but also the knowledge of generations of specialists.”
Says Maria Skappel Holzweiler about the making of the collection.
